Amazing japanese restaurant. Authentic taste and atmosphere that will make you feel like you are eating in Japan. The food is great and the prices are so good (they even have menu lunch). The service is very good aswell: they advice me to choose the best veggie option combination (they have several tasty and delightful ones such as sushi, tofu and tempura). If you go to Koln, you cannot miss this place.

I found the command to be extremely appealing and we were completely blown away by it. Good cost-performance ratio. The inn is really extremely stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, but the colors were all very nicely matched to each other. In the restaurant you get both: friendly and fast waiters.

I can only agree with what has already been written here. The food is of really good quality, from the miso soup to the delicious sushi and sashimi. The Tenpura in my bento box also made me really happy. The staff - all Japanese - is very amiable, the whole small restaurant is personable and it is not even expensive. Here you felt just as deliciously cared for as you did in Japan!

Narrow but nice atmosphere, the food was DELICIOUS and the service was AA+. Waitstaff was very friendly and the food came immediately. The sushi was well-made, not some store-bought sushi that falls apart with chopsticks. Good attention to hygiene protocols for Coronavirus. Giftcards available! I used mine without issue :) 100% recommend!

I fell in love with this place that serves genuine sushi with Japanese know-how. I highly recommend if you're looking for high quality products. The fish and the rice melt in your mouth, the sushi all have a generous portion of fish. Also try their fried maquerel which is super yummy!!

Very yummy tasty sushi!! Great quality in a small cosy restaurant in the shopping area in the city. Matcha ice cream and drink are great too. Don’t forget to book it in advance.

The best sushi place I've ever been to!

The Momotaro has a great selection of hot and cold Japanese dishes far beyond what you normally get. The sushi and sashimi is excellent, the fish very fresh. The service is nice and attentive and the prices for the offered moderate. Since the restaurant does not have many seats, it is usually fully booked; Walk-in customers have little chance. Reservation was no longer possible a week in advance for Saturday evening; So plan your visit well in advance! Worth it!

Momotaro is the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. I loved both the sushi and the grilled salmon! The location is authentically decorated and the waiters are really very hospitable. I will definitely be back next time I am in Cologne!

Small 'real' Japanese restaurant. If you want quality, authenticity, a Japan-feel, this is the place! Loved every bit of it, the food and especially the sashimi melts on your tongue. It is wise to make a reservation. If you come early or alone there is a chance you may taste this heavenly glory.

Super delicious sushi, very fresh and the staff is super nice, accommodating and friendly. You feel like in the streets of Tokyo, Japanese flair is definitely here. Clearly different than any other sushi restaurant in Cologne (and I have stayed in some yd) :)

The best, most authentic Japanese restaurant you will ever come across in Europe. All staff and chefs are Japanese and service is always great. The fish is freshly sent everyday and a lot of ingredients are imported directly from Japan. Usually very busy during dinner hours so be sure to make a reservation, or you will have a high chance of not getting a table.

Freshest Sashimi I have had in a long time. Get a seat overlooking chef's bench preparing your meal and enjoy every bite.

Restaurant run by japanese, cozy feeling. Good quality of fish compare to other japanese restaurant in europe. Set menu is a good choice. The price itself it’s ok not too high. For me the green tea ice cream taste a little bit weird because of the milk and not enough green tea flavors. Food timing could improve a little bit. Miso soup might serve just a little bit before tempura because by the time tempura arrived miso soup wasn’t warm anymore. Still recommend!

Best Japanese restaurant ever tried in Europe, and even better than other ones tried in Tokyo. The fish and all the other ingredients are juicy and fresh. The owner knows the traditions and his utmost best to respect them. A must try in Cologne. Prices are very fair and service great. Super recommended!

My favorite Sushi place in Cologne. Always fresh, always delicious. Make sure to book your table at least several days ahead. Weekends almost always booked out.

Authentic Japanese cuisine and atmosphere.

Excellent sushi dishes. Basic decoration but this actually adds points to the place. The staff is very friendly and polite. Everything looks clean and tidy. Changed my opinion about sushi!

Absolutely amazing. From the moment we were seated, when they brought us hot towels, to the moment we left, I was delighted. The California rolls and Gyoza were the best I've ever had, and the Scallops in Butter Sauce were so perfectly cooked they felt like butter, too! I will certainly come here again. Try to make a reservation if you're coming to dinner late; they have few seats and they can fill up!

Beautiful little restaurant. The selection on the map is great. The sushi and fish are of a very high quality. For me one of the best in Cologne. I like to go here. The green tea is delicious and is always refilled free of charge. We sat there until late at night and the waitress was incredibly friendly. I really recommend everyone .... who is not sushi but still wants to go there are very good alternatives to sushi

Ultimate sushi experience. It’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. Fish and tofu are super fresh and of exceptional quality. Would recommend this restaurant to all gourmets.
